Admissions Process
Due to increased interest and the growing number of applicants, we are implementing a wait pool system to streamline our admissions process. This system will help us manage applications effectively and ensure that we have qualified candidates ready to enroll if spots become available.
Step 1:
Attend an information session (highly recommended).
Step 2:
Submit an application and a $75 application fee per child through this link — this will add your student to our wait pool.
Step 3:
Students will remain in the wait pool until spots become available (earliest would be early Spring 2026). We will contact families from the wait pool to continue the application process.
Step 4:
Submit references when invited to move forward.
Step 5:
Complete the academic assessment.*
*After the academic assessment, the admissions team will review all submitted materials to determine which students will progress to the family interview step or be released.
Step 6:
Participate in a family interview.
Step 7:
Admissions decision — the admissions team will consider all submitted components when making final decisions.
How the Wait Pool Works:
Application and Review:
Once you have completed an application for your student, they will be added to the wait pool if it is determined that they are a good fit for The Grove.
Wait Pool Placement:
We will build a wait pool for each grade level to be prepared for any openings that may arise. Students added into the wait pool will have the opportunity to proceed through the various steps in the application process once a space becomes available. Our Admissions Committee will evaluate them to determine if they are a fit for The Grove.
Notification and Response:
If a spot becomes available and a student has completed all aspects of the application process, then we will contact eligible families in the wait pool and offer an enrollment contract. Families will have 72 hours to respond and accept the spot. If a spot is accepted, a contract must be signed and returned within 48 hours.
Ongoing Availability:
Openings may occur before or during the school year due to various circumstances. If at any time you wish to withdraw from the wait pool, please notify our Administrative Team to update our records.
Future Considerations:
If your child remains in the wait pool and is not offered a spot due to lack of availability, your application will remain valid for the following school year.
