What is The Grove Homeschool Co-Op?

A Christian-based homeschool program in St. Johns, FL, offering drop-off style learning for grades K-6.

What subjects are taught in the co-op?

We provide instruction in Bible, math, language arts, science, history and electives tailored for grades K-6.

What is the weekly schedule for students?

Our program operates Monday through Wednesday each week from 8:40am-2pm each day. Tutors provide direct instruction on these co-op days, while providing lesson plans and support for parents to instruct their students at home on Thursday and Friday.

How much is tuition?

K, 1st and 6th grade tuition is $4200 for the year. This price includes students Wednesday electives. 2nd-5th tuition is $3900 for the year. Tuition may be paid by semester in July and January or in full in July. Families with students in these grades can choose their Wednesday electives by semester and pay those providers directly.

How do tutors and parents collaborate?

Tutors handle in-class instruction while parents reinforce learning at home, creating a seamless partnership.

What steps make up the application process?

We host information sessions throughout the school year and encourage families to attend those sessions before applying. Our next info session will be held on Monday, October 13th at 6:30pm. Register here if you would like to join us.

If you are interested in applying after attending an info session, you may submit an application and $75 application fee per child through this link. This will add your student to our wait pool. As spots become available in the spring, we will contact families who’ve applied to walk through the application process. These steps include submitting references, completing an academic assessment and joining us for a family interview. Those components will all be considered when making admissions decisions.
